I think when people are complaining about a project being "gooner slop", 90% of the time the issue lack of body diversity (ie women being cookie cutter with big tits and a perfect hourglass shape). I think we should start re-framing discussions in terms of this and not how "sexualized" projects are

it also bugs me that the people who DO complain about glitch shows’ writing haven’t even seemed to actually watch other animated works that have the serious serialized writing they’re looking for. common side effects exists and while it isn’t exactly indie it’s such a masterpiece
