I’ve seen something like this happen before and the best advice i can give to the UT/DR community is to not let Shayy have a voice or place among you. Don’t quote dunk their posts, don’t give them attention, don’t even hatewatch their response. Just block and tell others to do the same

This, probably. I'd been playing games for a while before, including older zeldas, but this presented me with a really cool story and a world where I could go pretty much anywhere and find something cool to do. This and its sequel with its music and story made me fall in love with the medium.

that's fair enough, i've also seen other people point out that specific background is an alternate version of another background used earlier in the game and that version looks fine so it honestly might just be an artifact

My problem isn't necessarily the "realism" or whatever, it's that it doesn't really have an art direction, it seems to be going in like 7 directions and it looks busy and uncanny. Like it wants to be cartoony but also cram as much detail as possible into everything and it just doesn't work for me.

If I ever got Mega Man Legends 3 but discovered it had Gen AI used in ANY part of the development process, I wouldn’t buy it. Doesn’t matter how good it is. Doesn’t matter how long I’ve waited for it. Zero tolerance. That’s what’s needed from this point on.
