crappy remake for the nth time of https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/say-i-am-alive where a person says "say 'oof ouch owie'" to a computer, the computer replies "oof ouch owie" and the person, in revelation, says "oh my god"

I can tell it's tax season from the IRS-impersonating email spam and #malware landing in my inbox. It's not a sophisticated campaign, but they did some things right I got a good chuckle from the things they did wrong (gif attached of the "IRS" webpage) 😁 Blogged: chris.partridge.tech/2026/tax-sea...

My internet was out, so Spectrum showed up to my house to troubleshoot, where they noticed a Spectrum van at my neighbor's house, where the technician had disconnected my house from Spectrum ... to make a new connection to my neighbor's house ... while troubleshooting my neighbor's connectivity

An error message saying "sorry, that's not correct." The correct answer is 1,018,000. The answer the user gave is "suck my w e e n"

A highly compressed, blocky image of a cartoon child celebrating while wearing a Santa hat, looking at a decorated Christmas tree. The photo is captioned "repost to spread 6.1 kb of Christmas Joy"

Yet another banger from Patrick Boyle
A screenshot of a YouTube video by finance author and 'influencer' (among other things) Patrick Boyle, in which Marc Andreessen is dryly depicted as an egg.

Everybody's always talking about how many nines of uptime they have, but nobody's talking about how many threes of uptime you have. I have the most threes of uptime of anybody. King of threes right here
An ISP performance graph showing over the past hour I have 93% uptime

Watching a recording of a funeral for a family member -> notice that the recording is going to be deleted in ~30 days by the shitty software company -> pause playback -> PIRATE MY FAMILY MEMBER'S FUCKING FUNERAL
We live in a DYSTOPIA. But not the cool kind. Like wearing a trench coat and eating noodle soup in the rain at Chinatown cool.

Either the bluesky team has made some very cool and good UI bugs, or my laptop is 2 microseconds away from crashing due to shitty graphics drivers

Anyway this is what I'm working on tonight, better monitoring for the Tor copy of my blog that so far I think two (?) people have ever been to (one of them is me). If you're ever needing to work with Tor, strongly recommend Stem as an interface. Makes a lot of things easy :)
