Dang, the blue one is so pretty! I missed the first KS as the news was travelling slowly to my young self in Poland. Lucky you! I also got Psittaco and proto as a fun extra. I got the gray smaller rex too, but I removed the ... Neck-foreskin and filled the gap with a kneaded eraser xD

(I don't recommend the big rex btw. It takes a lot of space, it is rather stiff, and while the warm paintjob is nice, I think I'd prefer an unpainted/gray. It would be ideal if there was just a head-only version... It does a great job of scaring the parrots away from the no-go places tho!)

I strongly believe the reason is our money. The funding that keeps the govs/corrupted politicians alive. W/o us it'll be left with a nearly usless grid, established money channels (w the parasiting midlemen) cut out, and a hole in the budget... So no one above wants to take that step.

I noticed that too in other fields. When "good" becomes "good enough" suddenly the "good enough" becomes the new "good". And so on, the baseline shifts lower and lower until there are no standards or even it works the wrong way up.

This. Games are no free money to grab Ensuring the dev AND marketing go well should be in evrone's common (devs&pubs) goal. Why wouldnt u want to make a better game and let ppl hear abt it so it sells better? I witnessed some truly horror stories that ruined solodevs effort or even life.

Wow. LOISH got accused of using Ai to make her art. I started following her on early deviantart. I remember first seeing her paintings in college. This is ridiculous, no one is safe. Artists Ive followed for actual decades are getting harassed because their work has been stolen and regurgitated.

The image shows oversimplified and idealised wings. Great for some fantasy settings but the bone structure is totally awry.

This image focuses on the leading edge of the wing - the propatagium. It's a membrane that fills the gap between the wrist and shoulder, creating a nice aerodynamic shape.

Final image shows skeletal schematic of the flying vertebrates forelimb: the bat, the bird, the pterosaur. With a funny comparison to the human hand.

I see this discussion as being smart about your workflow vs becoming so cheap you basically churn out meaningless fillers. The balance is the answer: while you can still do it with care and love, you don't wanna burn yourself and your animators out or become bankrupt.
