It's a bit of a shame, I don't have access to terrestrial at all and Freely doesn't carry the channels either... Interestingly, Freely carries only *some* of the Discovery channels... Quest Red, Food Network and DMAX but not the others? And it carries only one timeshift, Dave Ja Vu... bizarre!

Why have Sky & Virgin both left the channel slots previously occupied by MTV open? They could easily move the NOW channels so they start at 350/280... Virgin even recently moved Clubland from 292 to 289, so it is possible..!

It will forever amaze me how a lot of European countries make it so easy to broadcast a TV channel even on a reputable platform - and then you get to the UK... Regulatory hell & extortionate fees... We should take a leaf out of Germany's page! Or most other countries in Europe..

More about That's TV, the current word is that ~50% of their staff made redundant especially those involved with the local news, alongside the closure of half of their national channels. Their first gazette of compulsory strike-off action takes effect from tomorrow, 3rd March.

Today, the music channels operated by That's TV will cease linear transmissions. These closures leave only one remaining music channel operator, Universal Music TV. In the past 4 years we have seen Trace, Channel 4, MTV and now That's TV leave music channels behind.

With That's TV entering the FAST market for the first time, it makes me wonder if they will join other streaming platforms such as Sky Stream and Freely in the near future. Clearly steps are being taken to move forward with streaming by them.

I miss when songs came with actual music videos, not just basic lyric videos. When a music video is done right, it can make a song even better, especially when said song follows a story. We need a music video revival!!

Well, Clubland has started to impress me with some of these newer programmes. It's nice to see they're including some songs that isn't Martin Solveig - Intoxicated or some Calvin Harris song from the mid 2010s. I've also spotted a programme reaching up until 2026... Loving it!

That 'Sundown Sessions' countdown on Clubland last night is possibly the best countdown I've seen them create in many years. Plenty of variety, songs you don't normally hear on the channel (or any other music channel for that matter). THIS is the Clubland we need.

Quite an interesting find - This Now 90s00s programme is quoting 'Planet Pop' a channel that has not existed for over 10 years! Planet Pop was replaced with Chilled TV in 2015, which then went on to become Chilled 90s, Now 90s and finally (and currently) Now Rock.

This 'Every Massive Number 1 - 2000-2009' programme on Clubland is 90% not dance music most of the time and I find that a bit bizarre... The channel can be great at times but otherwise it is straight up chaotic!

Music TV is still popular, Now's channels consistently rate with a reach in the millions every month. It's comforting to be able to put a channel on and have the videos chosen for you, I think a modern contemporary channel still has a place on Sky and Virgin.

I'd do anything to bring a music channel back that was like MTV Music or The Box. 3 weeks on and I hope I speak for all of us here when I say that it feels like there is something missing.. I can't ignore that times have changed, and I sadly don't think a music channel like that will ever be back.

Do you think it is time more channels went High Definition on the likes of Sky & Virgin Stream? There's no longer an issue of higher definition channels taking up more bandwidth of an expensive to run Satellite, so what exactly is stopping them?

According to someone at Sky, That's TV will be on Sky Glass on Channel 171. I'm currently at University so I can't directly check this. If anyone else with Sky Glass could confirm this it would be great.

Vinyl isn't the answer for ultra high-quality audio, but there is something about taking an LP out of a huge album sleeve, the effort of cleaning the record, setting the needle down and listening the entire way through that pressing a play button on a screen can't match.

Some news outlets are reporting that 40 extra channels will be launching to Sky Glass, so it looks highly likely that That's TV 1-3 and Oldies, Melody and Dance will be included in this... As for the other 34 channels we will wait and see!

That's TV has been removed from the 'TV channels not currently available on Sky Glass or Sky Stream' list. The channels were not on this morning when I checked so I will have a look when I get back tonight. The list also suggests that Eurosport has been removed from Sky Glass.

Sky has today revealed Sky Glass Gen 2 (available from tomorrow) and Sky Glass Air (available later this year). Sky Entertainment OS is becoming Sky OS, enhanced soundbar and better viewing angles on Gen 2. Prices remain the same as Gen 1, channel variety looks to be the same
