The energy, generosity, and rigour in the room (and across the screens) reminded us exactly why this work matters. Thank you to everyone who joined us, presented, listened, and made the day what it was.

I think it’s pretty cool that I co-hosted the @tvce.bsky.social online event all day on Friday and played vets rugby at a tournament in Forfar today. It feels like I am a fully-rounded person with wide-ranging interests and social interactions. Curious which bruises will be most painful tomorrow.

Post-lunch I've been sat hearing the testimonial of a trans Pakistani activist, and how/why borders develop beyond geography. "No borders, no nations, trans liberation" ringing around my mind amongst amazing things she shared.

After a fun, engaged session on Bristol Trans Futures, I'm now hearing all about 20th century gender transition & transness, and how we frame an oral history of transness, and now we narrativise our histories with Zoe Playdon #tvce

"The future is queerness’s domain... The here and now is a prison house. We must strive, in the face of the here and now’s totalizing rendering of reality, to think and feel a then and there." Thinking along with Muñoz today as prep for @tvce.bsky.social conference with @jamologies.net and Hafren.
