This morning, the ancient city of Pergamon has two special guests: on the right, the bright C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet, and the slowly rising moon on the horizon. In this scene where history and nature meet, the ancient structures and the theater stand as silent witnesses to this rare celestial event. The timeless stones of Pergamon, having witnessed countless events over the millennia, are now illuminated by the unique glow of the comet, merging with the serene atmosphere of the sunrise, bringing a new sense of vibrancy to the ancient city.
