Thank you for bringing up this issue! I've always been curious about it too, but I simply imagined it was caused by the huge influence of puritanism in the USA (as usual) and never got into it

-cause the average experience here is more lighthearted for the most part. I'm pretty sure that most of our priests would be outdone at being fundamentalist by the average religious woman from Texas

Talking from my personal experience being raised catholic in Italy, the shame "aspect" of religion is way less highlighted than it seems to be for American Catholics. I no longer associate with the Church but it always surprises me to see catholicism being so strongly associated to shame and guilty-

They are my favorite #onepiece #skypeia

Two panels of a comic. In the first panel you can see Montblanc Noland leaning on a tree, sitting on the ground and reading a book. He is looking down and looks excited about the topic he is reading up on. The second panel shows calgara. He is also sitting down and is resting his head in one hand. He is looking at the viewer noland. He looks a bit lovestruck. There are various plants around him. The image is lightly coloured in red, greens and brownish tones.

A new social network? I burst in with my favorite works💜 My good ones, who haven't met me yet: I draw mainly from popular fandoms I'll think about unique content for the platform - sketches or speedpaints, which you like best💜💜💜 #Wriolette #Argenti #Neuvillette

loneliness (it can't rain all the time) #katatober #katakuri 🍩🦋

Painted artwork of Charlotte Katakuri dressed as Eric Draven from the film, The Crow. He looks at the camera with a vicious stare, eyes covered in black makeup with points above and below each eye like a dark clown. He has white face paint and black lipstick, making his long fangs stand out more. He has wavy shoulder length dark pink hair. His arms are together in front of him, covered in a barbed wire esque lining. Hes wearing all black with various textures and has bullet holes all over his shirt. He sits on a throne with a candelabra in the background. The colors are very muted grays and blues, giving the image a somber appearance.
