I wrote an entire new content warning system just for the run that's on right now.

The BigBadGameathon stream overlay: a purple geometric design with purple borders. Zoomed in on one text element. An orange background with black bold and underlined text saying "Severe Eye Strain and Photosensitivity Warning. Take frequent breaks and avoid if you are photosensitivie."

One of my favorite little things about Mr. Bones is the word "BONES" on the screens is your health gauge and you lose one bone/line at a time. Which gave rise to "BONF"

Oengus doesn't even validate the input they constrain with a javascript search field + dropdown. I can just set the pronouns I want from cURL. Honestly the "fix" for this is to just allow arbitrary pronouns without input edit+replay like they SHOULD all along.

Oengus's pronoun selector, which helptexts itself with "Search for a pronoun, example they/them", with a subtext saying the list of allowed pronouns comes from pronouns.page.

I have "somehow" forced the selector to allow two pronouns sets not in the dropdown allow list: "it/she" and "vee/them"

3 hours in a first attempt at A Single Fallen Feather. This was reaaaaal bad. I discovered the game has DQ style stats where you can breakpoint your ATK down to doing 0/1 damage and get stuck there and had to just stop and grind. Gotta review and figure out how to improve it.

Today in Kusogrande we allowed racers to use passwords. Unfortunately this is the game's idea of how to draw H, N, and M. We don't know in what order.

I had to dig this gem up from Kusogrande 8. One of the racers says "I'm on hotel wifi in the middle of nowhere and may have stream issues" Yeah. Yeah they did....

A simple stream diagnostic panel displaying a stream that should be 2600kbps and 60fps, but it's instead actually delivering 1.3fps and 2kbps.

Playing with an answer to a common critique from BBG runners that it takes us too long to tell them they're live. I keep wanting to call this a "Meatball" but I don't remember where I heard that term before. Difficulty: These color choices suck for accessibility. I need to redo this scheme.

I wrote my own speedrun timer ages ago to try to simplify the pertinent "Ahead or behind?" point. Never ended up using it, but now I'm thinking of pulling it out and shoving its guts into a grid of Balatro cardbacks that "drain" over time...

A speedrun timer that displays the total run time in big text then under it is a red "health bar" style bar that drains over time, with white hashmarks in it representing split points.

We had a real good borderline-SCP crash too.

A glitched and crashed video game screenshot. The entire screen is red, with vertical glitch lines running through it as regular intervals. The top displays a fairly unglitched HUD saying "Mission 1, Score 8814" but below that the glitching begins with broken text that says "DESTROY THE ENEMY" then becomes too garbled to read.
