Short answer: Yes. A year ago, I'd be more charitable and add nuisance. I am so disappointed in myself for having ANY sympathy for such entitled c*nts (I have exhausted every ounce of goodwill). How can it be so hard to 'spot' a despot? Not very. We are trapped in a fire with the idiot arsonists.

Some digital art from late September). I need to REDO the entire project as these aren't what the client envisioned, lol. My bad (it has been a long time since completing an art project for someone).

Digital art (Procreate, iOS).
September 22nd to 28th, 2026, cropped and edited with my Android photos/gallery settings.

It was one of three images (commissioned by a mutual friend of a dear friend; both are musicians who are looking for an artist). I am said artist.

This image (along with the other two) wasn't used for album art— that is my fault! I have ADHD and didn't fully grasp or understand the assignment 🙃

I am working on the album cover again— with strict instructions— which I appreciate (my RSD was pretty crushing when the client deconstructed my whole piece). Their feedback was pretty positive about my ability— nobody disliked these drawings or took offence with my odd visuals— like my dumb brain WANTS to believe (RSD).

Rejection Sensitivity Disorder:
Ever wonder why you feel like a fraud or an imposter? Or when you get so hyped up and motivated to do a thing someone else says (because they recognise your ability), but you FAIL it once and immediately assume everyone fucking HATES you? Yeah. RSD.

I never KNEW IT was a REAL THING (my family/therapist from long ago told me to just "grow up.") Mate, I dropped out of university 9 years ago because of this crap! "Grow up", my ass.

Yeah, I agree that this piece isn't very relatable or whimsical (well, at least not in the client's opinion). Again, I misunderstood and did something so ludicrous that my friends now (probably) think my mental health never improved on SSRIs.

The cats. They're cute and FUN to paint.

This is what 3 days of no sleep and little eating will do to a mf descending in an artistic spiral. I had fun! Screw the RSD.

The client didn't approve, and I will fix their request by doing what they said (the artwork they want is more tranquil and dreamlike). I agree. This is too wild.

Fine. It is a squid alien lady stealing a washing machine, but her plans are foiled by two red cats. Idk! I was in a trance.

I did a LOT of digital painting (my brain no longer works). The migraine is worth the payments for each commission— but my poor head... God, I missed this! Using the brain to DRAW IDEAS (so many don't make the cut). The client is releasing a single and wanted artwork for their song— if I do well, they'll return for more. I can't wait (hopefully, I can start working on this instead of wasting time worrying).

So, Schnitzel still tries her best to nurse from Moth. It looks silly because she is 12 weeks old, lol.

Schnitzel doesn't want to grow up and that is valid.

Schnitzel is very cute. However, her little teeth and claws are not 🫠

Moth.

She has recovered well! Nursing 6 kittens for 11 weeks was difficult and exhausting. The kittens (save for Schnitzel) were rehomed to amazing people who are now friends— each kitten is well-loved and shared (the families cherish these little cuties).

Moth misses them— she really loved being a mother.

Her gums and lips are back to normal.

It turns out her immune system was really running on steam (6 kittens are caloric vacuums). Her lip was swollen and ulcerated, but steroid treatment set her back on track. Now, she can be a goofy Ragdoll again— demanding Gourmet food and chicken fillets. The little mare.

My T3 and T4 (thyroid) levels are the same as April... Yay. High and making my eyes sore as shit. However, the physician I am now assigned by the hospital's metabolic team had me complete a hyper-mobility test. He is confused because I am "textbook" EDS. Haha. I'm not NEW to medical negligence.

Variegate Porphyria is genetic and a metabolic disease. It CAN contribute to one's health failing, but it rarely kills nowadays (blood tests and transfusions save lives). Dialysis is something I will need much later on in life (kidneys). But... Why am I seeing a rheumatologist? Ehler's Danlos.

4/3 (sorry). Variegate Porphyria (hepatic cutaneous Porphyrias) HATE sunlight and hot weather/climates. I am UNSTOPPABLE in the fall and winter; come springtime and summer, my body locks up and stops operating optimally. Abdominal dysregulation (inflammation). Pains in the chest. Tingling.

3/3 Lymphocyte? I had very few left because the Porphyria had attacked them. My heme is a monster that doesn't filter blood cells healthily. This can lead to impaired mobility, lung function, heart function, and a failing liver or kidneys. Yes, it is a fuckass genetic condition. Heatwave. Sun.

2/3 The UCU consultant GP checked my records and contacted the appropriate teams and their respective wards/clinics. Monday, I had a walk-in blood test (blood counts). It was 6 hours— because they did a transfusion on the spot. Variegate Porphyria (AIP variation). I had LOW white blood cells.

1/3 Saturday: I went to the Urgent Care Unit at my nearest hospital. It was a 4 hour endeavour— most of it was me fainting and forgetting WHY I was even there, lol. I went because my ankle finally got too sore that it pissed me off. The consultant GP(?) referred me to Clinic 5 for blood counts.

I am seeing a rheumatologist. Turns out hypermobile extremities that over extend and dislocate is not normal. Sorry, but HOW have I made it to 30 without ANYONE noticing my knees are groovy? Yup, I am bendy and very much in agony 👍✨️ At least, I will finally know why running hurts now.

A quick (funny) aside, the hospital GP I spoke with yesterday didn't believe that I am 30. He expressed sympathy for my silly situation and helped me calm down (waiting in A&E for a few hours is better than being denied appointments at my local surgery). He thought I was 22 based on looks, haha.

Also: I am 30 and weigh less than 100 lbs currently because of GRAVES DISEASE. But I don't have an endocrinologist! The hospital doesn't even know that bit yet. I'm going to the outpatients clinic tomorrow for my blood tests, transfusion, and more discussion about my health. Okay, that's good.

I am going to have a "plasma transfusion." This was further discussed over the phone this morning with the team at the hospital. They're concerned about the seizures I have developed during the heatwave. As am I! Dude, HOW? It is PAINFUL. My poor shoulder 🫥 Fuck.

My GP service is a huge problem: the receptionist there has refused to make a blood test appointment for me multiple times. I had no option but to waste hospital staff's time because my local surgery wasn't seeing me. The hospital is appalled by this negligence and seeing me on Monday.

I have a condition called Acute Intermittent Porphyria (it is a variation of Variegate Porphyria, a condition my mother has). My flare-ups or "Porphyria attacks" are irregular in severity. Seizures are rare and usually suggest that my haemoglobin is maxed out with porphyrian cells.
