Schnitzel wanted attention because I was petting Moth (the beautiful cloud).

Schnitzel is identical to her father.

Her face says it all, does it not? 18 weeks old now.

We are STILL decorating (my EDS and hyper-mobility make any motor task involving ladders and 'precise' paint strokes painful).

I kept dropping the paint brush and decided that it was tomorrow's problem.

Moth and Schnitzel are always there to motivate me— or they like to watch me struggle. Cats are enigmatic, and I am only human.

I need a trim (the shorter side was the result of boredom). Yes, I cut it after an impulsive nighttime workout. It's whatever. I have very few standards.

Some digital art from late September). I need to REDO the entire project as these aren't what the client envisioned, lol. My bad (it has been a long time since completing an art project for someone).

September 22nd to 28th, 2026, cropped and edited with my Android photos/gallery settings.

It was one of three images (commissioned by a mutual friend of a dear friend; both are musicians who are looking for an artist). I am said artist.

This image (along with the other two) wasn't used for album art— that is my fault! I have ADHD and didn't fully grasp or understand the assignment 🙃

I am working on the album cover again— with strict instructions— which I appreciate (my RSD was pretty crushing when the client deconstructed my whole piece). Their feedback was pretty positive about my ability— nobody disliked these drawings or took offence with my odd visuals— like my dumb brain WANTS to believe (RSD).

Rejection Sensitivity Disorder:
Ever wonder why you feel like a fraud or an imposter? Or when you get so hyped up and motivated to do a thing someone else says (because they recognise your ability), but you FAIL it once and immediately assume everyone fucking HATES you? Yeah. RSD.

I never KNEW IT was a REAL THING (my family/therapist from long ago told me to just "grow up.") Mate, I dropped out of university 9 years ago because of this crap! "Grow up", my ass.

Yeah, I agree that this piece isn't very relatable or whimsical (well, at least not in the client's opinion). Again, I misunderstood and did something so ludicrous that my friends now (probably) think my mental health never improved on SSRIs.

The cats. They're cute and FUN to paint.

This is what 3 days of no sleep and little eating will do to a mf descending in an artistic spiral. I had fun! Screw the RSD.

The client didn't approve, and I will fix their request by doing what they said (the artwork they want is more tranquil and dreamlike). I agree. This is too wild.

Fine. It is a squid alien lady stealing a washing machine, but her plans are foiled by two red cats. Idk! I was in a trance.

It includes my black cat, Meows (RIP, you little void). He was put to sleep last month, and I cried like a b*tch for hours.
He was fine until he wasn't.

I did a LOT of digital painting (my brain no longer works). The migraine is worth the payments for each commission— but my poor head... God, I missed this! Using the brain to DRAW IDEAS (so many don't make the cut). The client is releasing a single and wanted artwork for their song— if I do well, they'll return for more. I can't wait (hopefully, I can start working on this instead of wasting time worrying).

So, Schnitzel still tries her best to nurse from Moth. It looks silly because she is 12 weeks old, lol.

Schnitzel doesn't want to grow up and that is valid.

Schnitzel is very cute. However, her little teeth and claws are not 🫠

She has recovered well! Nursing 6 kittens for 11 weeks was difficult and exhausting. The kittens (save for Schnitzel) were rehomed to amazing people who are now friends— each kitten is well-loved and shared (the families cherish these little cuties).

Moth misses them— she really loved being a mother.

Her gums and lips are back to normal.

It turns out her immune system was really running on steam (6 kittens are caloric vacuums). Her lip was swollen and ulcerated, but steroid treatment set her back on track. Now, she can be a goofy Ragdoll again— demanding Gourmet food and chicken fillets. The little mare.

They're nearly 11 weeks old 🙂 Time really does go by... Percy was rehomed recently (I miss how she chased my feet and bit my ankles). Monsoon and her brother (Stormy) are leaving next week. We're keeping Schnitzel 😆

The dramatic little fluffs are gaining the ability to walk! They now pounce on their litter mates with reckless abandon. On Thursday (Friday), they can start eating wet foods (kitten) and learn how the tray 'works'. They're doing so well— nearly 4 weeks old 😄

Here, you can see the kitten.
They are approaching 4 weeks old this Thursday, and their agenda for this warm British afternoon is... be cute.

Here, you see a young male kitten (no longer a neonate). However, he is very dependent on his mother's warmth and her milk). He is waiting patiently for Thursday, for he yearns for legs that won't wobble.

Here, the same boy is swept from beneath as the fleece blanket gains sentience (no, it is his brother).
The brothers playfully complain about kitten issues, such as their mother needing breaks between feeds (oh, how rude of her). Thankfully, for them all, wet food can soon be introduced.

And, lastly... Here is the affectionately named "Idiot" of the litter. She is my favourite bean and very tiny when compared to her siblings. She is dainty but fierce; a fearless climber with little regard for gravity. She will bring someone's curtains down one day, and we will all be so proud of her.

Kittens and me. I am their caretaker and their mother's food assistant, lol. No complaints here! I love these soft little potato wedges. They will need a BIGGER enclosure since everyone is growing 🐾✨️

Two boys (I know because the mom needs help cleaning them after feeding/nursing). One is bigger because he eats more, lol. Maulbeer and Blizzard (reserved).

They are very friendly for young kittens. I have never known clingy kittens like this, and it melts my cynical old heart.

I am not a hostage. I am British, 30, and medicated (it makes me a bit robotic, which is... what it is, isn't it?).

3 years of recovery from anorexia (blue hair, 27 yrs old, 2023; and black and white is mostly 'recovered'.) I turned 30 recently and was diagnosed with an auto immune disease (graves'), which is F I N E... I am so NOT (lowkey) peeved about that 🙄👍

I was homeless at the time and an addict. In 2023, I became homeless after a total 'break' from reality— I dissociated and became obsessive with 'going back'. I missed my ex, my old home, friends, and for months, I lived in this daze of returning to a rosy version of my ex. The penny dropped when I saw him happy with someone else, and that's when I 'woke up' (I saw myself) and immediately got to work getting mental health support.
Seriously, if you're struggling, talk to someone (anyone) and get help from a professional. I spent 11 months confused and searching for a guy who didn't want me anymore. I hated him for leaving, but I pushed him away first— My mental illness is not an excuse— my symptoms are not red flags, but my personality in 2022 was a major sign to get fucking help. I didn't and lost him.
Hopefully, one day, I'll be better to myself first and wonderful for another.
I'll do good to get it in the right order first! Love yourself before any guy, lass, or anyone. When I stopped blaming him and everyone from my AWFUL past, I finally felt serene and no longer angry; fuck, I was an ANGRY soul.
This photo is what ANGER does to you (what jealousy, hate, and fear will do to you). I was 27 and weighed under 90 lbs... there is more to life than numbers (number of friends, achievements, and pounds). Anorexia can starve itself to death.

30 and still fighting.

I have graves' disease (it is pretty common).

I have days where I can't see due to swelling and burning around my eye (the eyeball gets a lot of hot pressure behind it, and the socket feels so cramped). This photo is the one occasion the swelling went down.
I am losing weight but eating as if my daily routine requires me to run 15 marathons. I'm hungrier than a horse.
I sweat a lot... my hands tremor, and I often go to the toilet. I get tired and sleep more, and my legs (thighs and butt) are sagging/wasting.

Now, despite that, I'm happy.
Life isn't perfect, but I'm calm and no longer angry at the past.
I'm angry for the present and hopeful for the future. I want to remain as strong as I can be to support others who are not.

I want to work with animals, and I'm looking into courses for late bloomers such as myself.

Five days. She's so good at being a mom, while I am single and anxious for her. I never thought I'd be a helicopter pet owner, but here we are. The kittens are gaining, and she's bonded strongly to them (she takes breaks).

Moth is my emotional support. She's costly, and I don't care. If she wasn't here, I'd be struggling (emotionally). It's hard to articulate sometimes, but my ASD seriously can not handle how absurd the world is; how cruel and fucked up it is. I won't stop paying attention— I need to calm down.
