I do think people focus way too much on if AI can ‘reason’ (not saying it can) as showing intelligence not if it can ‘understand’ what it’s doing: existence of hallucinations eg doesn’t disprove reasoning but i do think it shows ai does not understand things it says or it would ofc know it was wrong

My feelings on the OoT remake are that when it comes out it will get universal acclaim, fans will reappraise it as not that meaningful and overhyped within a year to 2, and then ten years from now people will come around to loving it

Yea hobby horse of mine that this is what we need—these are ostensibly institutions of learning whole point should be you need some threshold to make sure students should survive but beyond that your goal is to teach them! It would also lower/kill institution as pedigree which is good!

I’d add that like if you have an idea, are not a programmer, and want to pay labor bc you support labor …odds are a. person you hire will use AI and b. Even if you could afford/persuade contractor not to…could maybe evaluate front end for ai usage but not the back (bc again, you’re not a programmer)
