Yeah, maybe plaster instead of plastic and the moulds might have finer details, but the process is still essentially the same. Mould, sand, paint, stick on wall. And it's an old, reused design. My parents have plaster moulds in their house (not painted gold tho, that's tacky) and their middle class.
