Let me break this down like you break down QB film: Notre Dame’s losses were to A&M (11-1) and Miami (10-2) by a total of 4 points. Miami’s losses were to SMU (8-4) and Louisville (8-4) by a total of 9 points. And Notre Dame hasn’t lost since the 2nd week of the season.
