So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.

So apparently some Hollywood reject is trying to trademark the most common word in the fandom: fursona. This impacts every furry and more importantly fursuit makers because they're trying to trademark it under Class 25 (Clothing / Robes) which includes costumes and subsequently fursuits.

I need help to afford our monthly bills and remain housed. 🙏🔄💚 I am struggling to keep up with the high cost of living while I job search. If you are secure and able to safely make a donation, any gesture big or small means the world to me right now, thank you all so very much.

A post asking for help, a chibi of my fursona and my partners fursona with a picture of cal anderson park, a place we love to go play, as the background. The text says Please Help Us, I am currently searching for work outside my art career And have applied to 100+ jobs while also accepting work through a temp agency. I care for my disabled partner who does not have any income. Our monthly rent is $650 and I also make a loan payment of $169.20 monthly.

My venmo is @Sparkledogcore my cash app is $Sparkledogcore and you can pay me through PayPal via kofi.com/SPARKLEDOGCORE

it ends by saying Thank you so much to every donation and share. Our financial stress leaves me little lime to create and every small bit of stability is a gigantic relief.

One of the furry community's originals, Roz Gibson, is in really big trouble. She is in kidney failure, and needs a donor, so please reskeet. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1138...

I’ve thought long and hard about making this post, but really, at this point, I don’t have much to lose. Desperate times, and all that.

TLDR version: I need a kidney transplant, and I’m looking for a donor. Read below for all the gory details.

Since late 2019, right before Covid hit, I’ve been battling a serious illness. I’ve been kind of cagey about what exactly is wrong, for a number of reasons, but here’s the truth—I’m in full kidney failure.

There is no history of this in my family, so when the symptoms began appearing I didn’t recognize them until it was too late. By the time I went to a doctor my kidney function had dropped into the single digits. Most kidney failure is caused by diabetes or high blood pressure—I got some weird kidney disease I can’t even pronounce and never heard of: Oxalate Nephropathy.

By adopting some dietary changes and careful monitoring, I was able to limp along with reduced kidney function for several years. But you don’t appreciate how much your kidneys do to keep you healthy until they stop working. There’s constant fatigue and nausea, and a general feeling of unwellness that never goes away.

But eventually I lost even what minimal function I had left, which left the end of the line for kidney disease: dialysis. As of this point I’ve been on dialysis for about 3 years. Let me tell you—dialysis is its own special kind of hell that you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy.

But even that is just a stop-gap measure, and my condition is continuing to get worse. Despite this, I’m trying my best to live as normal a life as possible. I’m extremely lucky I have a job that’s willing to allow me 9 hours a week for dialysis, so I’m still working. On weekends I work on my art and comics, and one or two days a month I do my volunteer work at the bird-banding site. I can even travel to see my family—if I arrange for dialysis at a local clinic ahead of time.

All of that is done while trying to deal with the symptoms of kidney failure. I’ve known 4 people who were on dialysis—none of them worked or really did much of anything, and at this point they’re all dead, which doesn’t really give me a lot of hope for my future.

Which brings us to the point of all this—I desperately need a kidney transplant. That is the only thing that will give me a chance at a relatively normal life. I’ve been approved and on the transplant list for a few years, but the waiting period in California is very long. By the time I get to the top of it, I may be too sick to get one. Right now I’m still in relatively good condition, comparatively. A transplant from a living donor lasts much longer and is better in every way than one you get from a deceased donor.

Unfortunately, everyone in my immediate family is too old or has other health problems that preclude donation. So this post is a desperate attempt to find anyone willing to donate. I realize donating a kidney is a lot different than giving ten bucks to a GoFundMe, but as I said at the beginning, at this point I don’t have much to lose by asking.

Here is the living donor site: https://www.uclahealth.org/medical-.....t/living-donor

You can inquire and even arrange to donate completely anonymously if that’s what you want. Hopefully there’s a Jack Salem fan out there who wants to see the stories (and the artist) continue for years to come.

That is all.

Graphic Media: Photos of wrecked vehicle post crash. So my roommate Rain, my disabled partner @cybercanine.bsky.social and I got into a car crash and we need some help. We were driving back home around midnight on the highway when we got rear ended by a drunk driver. 🧵 (1/6)

Our previous car, a 2019 Subaru Outback, a couple minutes after being rear ended on a crash. It's still on the highway, yet to be towed away for the night.

Our car, right rear tired shattered and torn off from the rear axel. Right fender very damaged. Damage is so severe we will have to get a new car. Electrical system died after the crash so I taped up the windows to prevent rain from molding the car in front of our apartment complex.

Let's explore the jungle! 🌈🌴🌺🦎 #myart

A colorful digital art piece featuring Kalahari, my cartoon blue king cheetah mascot character. Kalahari is laying across a fallen log on the floor of a tropical jungle. Ferns and flowers surround the log, with a comet moth on a pink flower, and a rubber ducky isopod peeking out from under a fern's leaf. The log the cheetah is laying on has a day gecko crawling along the side of it and a green land snail perched on top of a broken branch. A variety of tropical foliage surrounds Kalahari and frames the edges of the piece. Hiding on some of leaves are more bugs; a firefly and a rhinoceros beetle. Colorful butterflies flutter around his head, and behind him, palm trees are silhouetted against the sunset sky with a rainbow. Everything in the background is very sparkly to give this piece a true Lisa Frank vibe. 🎨 #myart #furryart
