Every fecker is jumping on the AI (sorry, "SI") bandwagon. DocuSign are trying to up-sell me on their "Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM)" AI technology to get my documents signed 6x faster I think they're telling me they'll get AI to sign it 🤔

To be fair, it's probably a bit of both - Linux does tend to be snappier as it's using WAY less resources, but Windows does tend to get a lot of "cruft" along the way the longer it's been used - sometimes a re-install will fix that, but not to the speeds of Linux.

I bought this bad boy, a Sun Ultra 27, at a @retrocollective.co.uk table top sale, and have just finished replacing the motherboard and getting it back up and running! Now my main linux server at home. It literally took some drilling, and some hammering, to get it to here! LOVE IT though!

I also didn't get the CommodoreOS thing. It was Linux with a garish paint-job and overuse of Compiz effects. Making it easier to launch Commodore emulators was nice, but it went WAY over the top with effects for my personal tastes. I accept it may be a bit of a harsh judgement on my part

I was not a Commodore user back in the day, but I am all for the reboot of older tech using up-to-date hardware and modern niceties. But this... I don't really get. There are options out there already and this isn't a re-imagining rather a logo slapping exercise (a-la Trump phone)
