My thought process is thuslyboopydoopy: heat causes proteins to bond, bacteria are made of proteins so if the goal is washing them out then cold water should be used. Thanks.

I have added a step to my oral hygiene routine. Please tell me if it is stupid, I am not a dentist this is not professional advice. after brushing and flossing but before mouthwash I will rinse my mouth with cold water from the sink until it warms up from my mouth and then spit it out and repeat.
