And as such I must learn their perspectives through English lens and English selection of approaches they deem worthy of publishing. The same goes with WW2 in Poland - we have our own way to name things (bonus point - the term genocide was coined by a Polish person) and our own narratives.

As a Polish person hearing term holocaust expert sounds like a) there should be an academic title and an anniversary involved in the discussion b) collective generational trauma is involved. So seeing it as a propaganda strategy is just depressing ngl.

Like I read fanfics for fun, not to get bleh. My big point of bleh is I'd like to read plus size AUs (canon plus size is rare) and like 90% big body fics are also about fetishising feeding and weight gain. Hard pass, but you do you, just without me. Wish the tags we added better to filter.

If you want to know why I drip with disgust about these companies it’s because I love technology and I hate them for what they’ve done to the computer. It has never been perfect, but four or five companies decided that it had to be this bad, and they should be treated like war criminals for it.

I'm having a bit of a midnight meditation on how I ended my latest essay (relevant snippet below). The thing I'm commenting on probably doesn't even register as a trend in feminist writing unless you're familiar with just how much sex-positive online feminist blogs and articles did this.

This is the point in the essay where I dazzle and titillate my readers in equal measure through a salacious confession of just how many boundaries I transgress and how many norms I queer through sheer proximity, but if you’ll pardon the expression: I just don’t give a fuck. The status of my genitals, relationships, methods of intercourse or the people I engage in it with can be as varied and exotic or banal and vanilla as you please. What practices of intimacy I actually engage in do not matter one whit to a wider culture that has never cared about individual queers, and I remain, no matter what I do, a curiosity, an exhibit, a freakshow for cissexist, heterosexual perspectives to project all their fantasies and fears onto.

No perfectly executed move by me is going to snap the patriarchy in half, no matter how much I will it so.

Learning to sew is my way of liberating myself from the fatfobic system that states I'm not allowed to wear good looking clothes. Historical approach to clothing (made to last, no wasting fabric, fitting to the body) helped me to get a healthier outlook and say screw you to the machine
