Another re-release for Avatar, then?
Avengers: Endgame now once more holding the number 1 record for worldwide box office takings, with a couple of million dollars more than Avatar.

Don’t want to be *that guy* hence only the screenshot, but: this would be a good point, except that the people who say this sort of thing and who reposted it into my feed very much do have an interest in AI, and that interest is taking a performative dislike to it.

Bloody hell, it actually did it (and, yes, inflation, blah, but still I don’t think *anyone* ever thought Star Wars would lose its crown).

Wow - genuinely impressed that the all-new Cineworld app is even worse than the old one, didn’t think it was possible but there you go.
Three ‘Now Showing’ options, with no posters, the titles all cropped after “Cineworld 3…”

So, just to check: if it’s taking too long, don’t refresh, unless it’s taking too long, in which case do refresh. Gotcha.
Why is this verification taking longer?
This verification can take longer due to an older computer or a slow internet connection.
What to do next:
1. Wait briefly. Refreshing the page will restart the security verification and may take longer.
2. If the verification still does not complete, refresh this page.

Just been to see The Death of Robin Hood and I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece but it was honestly one of the worst films I have ever seen, almost offensively bad.

In other news, I learned this wonderful Doctor Who / Winnie the Pooh crossover fact last night and it makes me so happy.
Fiction and reality blur throughout Jon Pertwee's life. As a child, his playwright father Roland took him to tea at the house of his friend A.A. Milne. It was here that young Jon met Milne's son Christopher Robin, who was dressed in a suit of shining armour. Christopher introduced Jon to his toy animals Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo and a teddy bear called Winnie the Pooh. Jon was then given a ride on Eeyore, the family's pet donkey. Later in life, Christopher Robin Milne would also struggle with the way his identity had been merged with a fictional counterpart. It seems right that the Doctor has met Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin, yet it is strange to think that it happened in reality, rather than fiction.
