I thought I had seen it all, but this is an astonishing new low, putting the US in the company of Iran, Afghanistan and N Korea. I abhor the death penalty. The idea that kids, including my own, might see such an execution shocks me to the core. Abhorrent, barbaric, sick, warped, cruel and twisted.

Witnessing someone be publicly executed will take a toll on society, whether people support the death penalty or not. We are not supposed to watch people be murdered. We aren’t meant to endure this much bloodlust, violence and trauma. An eye for an eye doesn’t work.

Something I was told early on... When you leave a company, it's like taking your hand out of a bucket of water. A few ripples quickly disappear and then there is no evidence you were ever there, and they carry on as before. Just a number on a payroll spreadsheet. 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely hideous. Who does this harm? The landlord of the HMO, and the taxpayer who has to pay for the repairs. And, in the meantime, more accommodation has to be found for those in need, be they asylum seekers, young workers or whoever. 🤬
