I've still never been to the Bradford Pumpkin Show. I had no idea they held it over so many days! (Though I've heard tell of the confetti since I was in school!)

I joined mine because we meet at Crafted & Cured so I can eat charcuterie and drink booze while we talk about the book. (And the place is an old bank, and we meet in the vault in the basement)

As a kid, I loved John Christopher's White Mountains trilogy. In hindsight it is missing decent girl protagonists, but I devoured the trilogy whenever I read it.

Pickin' up the paw paws & puttin' in the basket, way down yonder in the paw paw patch. Also, the paw paw tree is the host plant for zebra swallowtail caterpillars.

I wish I had that freedom, but if I don't, the Republicans in my state stay in power. And they are worse. I hate voting for the lesser of two evils. I want to vote for good for a change. (Thankfully my local rep is a good, I just will be surprised if she beats the Republican opposing her.)

Oh nice! We have that day off work since our Field House is the town polling place. Maybe I'll go to Beavercreek, have some Indian Food, and go to the B&N!

Make your favorite film sound as boring as possible without giving away the title: Two future in-laws meet before their children's wedding and have a interesting day making them a little late for the wedding.

The Rutles. Bought it before we even had a CD player. When the family did finally get one, we each bought a CD and I got the Mary Poppins soundtrack

Heh, one of mine rusted through & fell down several years ago, but it is metal & painted purple, so doesn't quite have the religious vibe. Would love to convince some honeyvine (a type of milkweed) into climbing it, with no success yet.

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't nirvana, soundgarden, pearl jam, or alice in chains.

Album cover for Pet Shop Boys "Nightlife." It features a photograph of two men in suits sitting on a subway car with blurred faces & blurred window behind them and the word "Nightlife" in red in the center of the album.

For Slurpee, I like Blue the best. So called "raspberry flavor." Just don't suck down too fast or you'll get a "Slurpee tumor." (Brain freeze) Never got a Big Gulp cuz I don't need that much pop in one setting. (Or "soda" or "coke" in one setting - depends on the region in the US.)

I added a pocket prairie to my backyard a couple of years ago (thanks to Deeply Rooted Landscaping) and I love having habitat for pollinators in my backyard. So much so that I had Deeply Rooted come & redo the landscaping around my house this year. Lots more natives. :-)
