NEW COMIC! Enter the Lanternfly *edit- I messed up and reposted. Monologuing is the Achilles heal of many super villains. Laternflies are invading North Carolina which inspired this comic. A colleague found and dispatched one a couple of weeks ago so I had to immortalize it. #daniandlulucomic

A spotted lanternfly stands on a flat surface and says, “Behold the fluttering doom. I am the herald of ruin, the spotted nightmare perched upon your precious trees. You call me invasive, a pest, a blight. I am conquest with wings!”

I love it when Jon asks me to create a guest comic for Bubble Fox. I always jump at the chance and it often comes down to the wire. I drew inspiration for this from 1950s sci-fi movies. The weapons in particular are from one of my favorite movies. Can you tell me which one? Tell me in a reply. 😀

Throwback Comic Home Improvement Little known fact- I took drafting in the 3rd grade. Iwakuni Marine Corps Airstation, Japan. The school was k-12 and there were only maybe a dozen high schoolers, so the shop teacher had an elementary curriculum. #daniandlulucomic

For this, a self published children's comic, I took myself the liberty to place an anti AI manifesto on the indicia / info page - and with "stay human / natural intelligence" stickers to booth. These were quite sought after at the book fair. Don't know how much more vocal I can get.

Opening pages of my self published Villa Pizote comic. Over red-orange background, in Spanish: "No generative AI resources were used in the production of this work", below, a circular design featuring a hand holding a pencil, with surrounding words: "Stay human - natural intelligence". The same motif was released as stickers featuring four variations of the theme.

Throwback comic! Betty Lou Yet another old comic while I’m on vacation. A friend kept referring to Lulu as Betty Lou. So I made a comic about that. Also I had teachers get my last name wrong a lot for some reason. #daniandlulucomic #webcomic #comics
