FYI, from Toocheke. They added a Tapas migration feature.

A screenshot of an email that says

Import Your Tapas.io Comics Into WordPress
You may have seen the news about Tapas shutting down. If you or anyone you know publish there, you’re probably wondering what happens to all of your comics and years of work.

We’ve just added a new import feature to Toocheke Companion (available in version 2.23+) that can move an entire Tapas series into WordPress for you — including episodes, images, thumbnails, and original publish dates.

It keeps everything in order, so you don’t have to manually copy and paste hundreds of pages.

Adding on for those who think they're settling otherwise: you can think your art needs improvement and fight for that while still being happy about your art and that you made it. Your ability to critique is just more honed than your art atm. Don't be crueler to yourself than you'd be to a stranger.

That's rough 😨 Glad it's all coming together, though. Can't wait to see what you're cooking! I'm on that webdev grind as well at the moment, working on making a place for Mirrories to live before I start releasing it soon. We fighto.

It's definitely one of those things where the message is for others to remind them of the people who are suffering. The people who are suffering definitely do not be reminded lol Hoping your day turns around, however you manage to make it yours 🫂

Before anything else, I'd ask regarding the old commission. If they stop ghosting me, comment on what went wrong and what they plan to do about it moving forward, and then actually see it through... Only then would I consider commissioning them again. People grow, but second chances aren't free.

Undercover taking down creature-trafficking rings? Woulda been nice if he was around while Clarke was stuck in that pet shop. Attack #9 out of 9, ft @yeliuxi.bsky.social's Nahel's sneaky drake-rescue shenanigans. artfight.net/attack/18350... #artfight #artfight2026 #illustration #ocsky #mirClarke

Nahel (masculine human ranger), wielding a hooded lanturn and with a hand free at the ready to draw a weapon from his hip at a moment's notice, scopes out a supply room at a creature trade outpost, eyeing a sealed casing with a young drake trapped inside. In the background, Clarke (feminine pixie), trapped in a glass "hamster cage" placed under a glowing magical ward, sits despondently on some makeshift bedding formed from a scrap of brown cloth.

Zoom in on Clarke, trapped in a glass "hamster cage".

Zoom in on the drake and its scraggly little eyes.

Zoom in on the sigil on the wall, resembling a hooded figure with open eyes warded behind a runic symbol.

On these lonely misty mornings, sometimes you can't help but let some light bleed through your mask. Attack #8: Lev "Silver" for @sagaslittlecorner.bsky.social, in deep contemplation while setting sail at sunrise. artfight.net/attack/17859... #artfight #art #illustration #ocsky

"Silver" (Saga's male human pirate with long blonde hair) stands framed by mist and seafoam under a bright yellow pink and purple dawn-lit sky, precariously hanging from the outer edge of a shielded railing at the back of a galley as he watches the sunrise with a contemplative expression, as if lost in thought.

I feel that! It's def not something for everyone.

010

Tremendo Dude @tremendodude.neocities.org · 28/07/2026

I guess this is a way of saying that it feels way easier when you take that weight of "being creative with others" off of yourself and just exist. If you have any creative ideas, you can pitch em to the GM to make real in the world, but otherwise, "if you were your character, what would you do?"

110

Tremendo Dude @tremendodude.neocities.org · 28/07/2026

I like the style of play that systems like it offer, though. I feel it's less collaborative writing and more just living in a world through your character's eyes. Stemming off their origins, personality, and motivations, esp. when paired with others, the stories often end up writing themselves.

110

Tremendo Dude @tremendodude.neocities.org · 28/07/2026

D&D is definitely weighty and loaded. I feel like it did a lot of damage to ttrpgs by claiming to be "uniquely" easily accessible and usable for everything, when it's actually one of the more convoluted and full-of-pitfalls systems there are and struggles to shine outside of dungeon crawls.
