Okay, so here's one of those personal projects. I'm doing a Kingdom Hearts-inspired thing with some friends, and to also tie in my current hyperfixation with a certain species of animal, I came up with a coyote character who wields a Keyblade. His name is Sparky. #furryart

Digital illustration of an anthro coyote character wielding a Keyblade. He's wearing a mechanic-like outfit, mostly yellow with orange accents. There are many Kingdom Hearts-like elements to his design, including a very noticeable zipper in the crotch, some black and red shoulder straps, and a prominent belt. The belt buckle resembles a Gummi Ship. There's also some gratuitous plaid on the seat of his pants. He's also wearing some mettalic boots that are red on the bottom, very similar to Fox McCloud's.

He's leaping in the air with with a smug expression, one arm extended forward and the other holding his Keyblade in reverse style. The Keyblade has a hilt resemblind a gear, while the blade is more of an abstract golden shape with the teeth being orange petals that can also be interpreted as upside-down hearts. There's also star elements such as a shooting star and a red star keychain. The keyblade is leaving behind an orange and yellow motion blur as it's swung.

I am still coming down from the white-hot thrill of attending @furrymigration.org this past weekend as a guest of honor. One treasured aspect was drawing both the con shirt and a souvenir postcard. I will share my panel recording in the next week.
