I had an absolute blast at Museum London on Saturday night for their Karaoke and Collage event. It was so much fun to meet up with my Queeraoke friends in a new venue and to chaotically craft together. What a great night! #LdnOnt #MuseumLondon #Queeraoke #Collage #WeirdArt #MakeArt

A very random collage on a brown paper background. The words ATTENTION ESCAPISTS!!! Are across the top framed by a vintage space rocket, a cartoon of a construction worker with a jackhammer and a picture of a nuclear explosion. More words are scattered on the page: “TEST YOURSELF”, “origins and destiny”, and “PRESSURE”. Other images include, a nude She-Hulk in a containment tube with a bashful Pope looking on, a large black and white image of a camera, the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus, and a child jumping on a trampoline.

One of my favourite collages to date. I made it after a particularly intense argument with my parents - who have since been asked to leave my life. I love creating weird art, especially in those intense moments. #WeirdArt #Collage #ArtTherapy #MakeArt #EmpoweredByArt #BoundariesAreAwesome

A paper collage on a painted backdrop. The colours are hunter green, deep purple, scarlet, and a rose pink. They have been mixed in places but also appear in bright, horizontal slashes of colour. A woman is holding a video camera and looking out of the picture at us. The words are “The Truth is we put ourselves last. We always have.”

I’m gardening, enjoying a lot of cannabis, making weird collages, and teaching myself to play all my favourite songs on the ukulele.

A mixed media collage. The background is painted in vertical swathes of magenta and fluorescent yellow making a muddy orange where the two colours meet. Two lines of text are diagonal in the centre and read,”This is not the Internet. Feel free to curl up and settle in.”
Three joyous dancers from the 80s are modern dancing just above the text. Vinyl record covers for Abbey Road and Nevermind are topped by an oily skyline in the top right. The bottom has a goon and bride from another era. The groom is wearing a stovepipe hat, fabulous oversized bow tie, and what looks to be a lion mask. The bride has a simple white wedding dress and a giraffe head with large deer antlers.

I needed some art therapy today and it just so happens I know a bunch of people in a show I’m seeing this Thursday - so I taught myself to paint some watercolour flowers and am making them all cards. #ImperfectArt #JustMakeArt #ArtTherapy #CreativeTherapy

A top down view of an amateur artists daily progress. Several unfolded cards, half painted with watercolour flowers are spread out on the table, along with a few different palettes, a mixing tray, paintbrushes, paper towel, and a small red toadstool that just happens to be a bluetooth speaker.

A super colourful and queer day in Amsterdam!

A long shot of a series of hexagonal rose gardens surrounded by a green shrub about one foot tall. Each garden bed contains a different type of rose in a different colour. You can see orange, pink, and white in the distance.

A white sign hanging from a green bannister reads “HOMOMONUMENT”. A large pinkish marble triangle dock juts out in the canal. Several wreaths and tokens are placed at the point.

A double rainbow in the evening sky over urban Amsterdam. The lower one is bright and vibrant and stretches across the whole frame. The upper one is much fainter and broken in the middle. Street signs, a crosswalk, and a red streetcar are in front.

My killer finds from Les Puces Saint-Ouen. I’m so stoked to take all these gems back across the Atlantic. #LesPucesSaintOuen #IlmoSmokehouse #FleaMarketFinds

The cover of a vinyl record with the words Ilmo Smokehouse in the top left corner. The cover art is a photograph of several old watches, clocks, vintage photographs, and books. In front are two small trinkets described in the next photo.

A large bejewelled winged insect bracelet. The body is made of two larger gems and the wings are mostly silver/pewter with smaller iridescent gems inlaid throughout. A small pewter woodland creature sits beside the bug. It looks like a cross between a fox and an opossum with ear like leaves.

For Renee Nicole Good
Killed by ICE. on January 7, 2026
by Amanda Gorman
They say she is no more, That there her absence roars, Blood-blown like a rose.
Iced wheels flinched & froze.
Now, bare riot of candles, Dark fury of flowers, Pure howling of hymns.
If for us she arose,
Somewhere, in the pitched deep of our grief, Crouches our power,
The howl where we begin,
Straining upon the edge of the crooked crater Of the worst of what we've been.
Change is only possible, & all the greater, When the labour
& bitter anger of our neighbors
Is moved by the love
* better angels of our nature.

The colours are something special this year, but our annual CookieFest has concluded.

Four trays of iced sugar cookies - stars, trees, snowmen, bells, mittens, and Santas all decorated with turquoise, orange, and various shade of purple icing. Some are topped with sprinkles and crushed candy canes. It’s a lot to look at. Too many shades of purple and some navy blue that’s almost black.

It's dumb, it's a waste of time and energy, and believe me, it's NOT what he'd want.
To watch the legacies of real people be condensed down to 'this vaguely looks and sounds like them so that's enough,

other people can churn out horrible TikTok slop puppeteering them is maddening. You're not making art, you're making disgusting, over-processed hotdogs out of the lives of human beings, out of the history of art and music, and then shoving them down someone else's throat hoping they'll give you a little thumbs up and like it.
Gross.

And for the love of EVERYTHING, stop calling it 'the future. Al is just badly recycling and regurgitating the past to be reconsumed. You are taking in the Human Centipede of content, and from the very very end of the line, all while the folks at the front laugh and laugh, consume and consume.
