[Commission: Curse of Nihilism] Finished a 3-part character commission for @treesage.bsky.social where I was given complete freedom to design a Sonic OC with Nihilism as the theme. So here's a punk bear turned void-themed revolutionary. The end will be televised! #artversion #commversion

Concept art of a Sonic style character powered by a cursed item

On the left is a red furred bear with a dark pink pompadour, bound by chains at the wrists and the ankles, wearing an angry scowl on his face.

On the right is a cursed item monitor with white circles resembling an eye on the screen. From the bottom, many pitch black arms flow out like the tendrils of an immortal jellyfish.

In the center is the combination of the two: the cursed state. The fur of the bear is muted, and from the neck up almost resembles a domed suit helmet. He is no longer bound by chains, and with extra arms resembling the cursed item, brandishes a flagpole with a long pitch black flag.

Moving over to @floodart06.bsky.social, this account will either be deleted or just used as a back up I'm not sure yet.

Its harder than I thought it would be to make a new name but I can't find anything that really hits I wanted to keep it rain related, artist usually can name things for shit anyway so I guess this is just part of the process

Key words I could maybe use to create a name including monsoon, I would just use rain if it wasn't so generic

Also moon, and putting some of the key words already mentioned into a translator to find something to no avail.

I'll figure out something eventually but I wish I was better at coming up with names especially since I have to go by that name in the future

Gonna be 100% real I would have done this whole reset a while ago and deleted or just retired this account already but I don't have a name to go by, been trying to mix words and things mainly (rain, umbrella(came out too feminine), star, nova, angler) but still really found nothing I liked

I made a fan character for Rivals of Aether 2 in case they ever come out with the Workshop function for that game! I can put him in if they do. Emory is an engineer of noble blood who is rose-themed in tribute of his sister who loves roses and that he is protective of. c:

I'll be making a new account for here and twitter when I have everything I want set up and made some progress as an artist and the things I wanna do in the future. And staying mostly in my own space for a good long while.

It's been way too stressful, mainly because I was too overly attached and clingy. I was just afraid of losing the things I knew and cared about since I was around 14, but I think I did about as much as I could have and it seems like everyone around me moved on much faster than I have.

I will slowly be removing myself from spaces and starting over from scratch (not that I have much going on now). I’m even changing the name I go by, which I’ve had for years. I’ve wanted to make this change for a while, and I’m not sure what to change it to yet.(mascots staying the same though)

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately and realized that I haven’t been taking care of myself as I should for several months atp. I even kinda scared off a friend with how much I was working just for other people(we’re still friends, though). I think whats best for me is a real fresh start.

Finally getting to a point where I can slow down on my job now that I got my friends in art school and actually do the damn classes myself, I'll start posting more soon with progress and other shit

Despite being hijacked multiple times by grifters, Genc's fundraiser is very close to being fully funded. I am, unfortunately, in no position to donate so I hope I can help by spreading the word as much as I can. One last push for all they've been through. #art #kamenrider #shinkamenrider

A stylized illustration of Shin Kamen Rider based on GENCZILLA's illustration and a Shin Kamen Rider poster for the pose and composition. Kamen Rider is seen from the knee up, slightly hunched with his trench coat and scarf billowing behind him, his left arm holding his right as if injured. The illustration is almost entirely black and white with the exception of the red glowing lenses on his helmet and belt and the scarf that sports the colors of the transgender pride flag.

Even after I quit being an artist for several months, if you know you know. Even before I spiraled I was slowing down despite my love for art it was getting increasingly hard to want to draw knowing I wouldn't be able to draw what I was thinking in my head, hopefully the course fixes that

Gonna be taking a online course soon I know where I wanna be, I have tons of fucking plans content creation(I've written down so many ideas), art, animation the full package but I've been struggling to grasp a starting point and I've been feeling the stagnation LONG BEFORE I quit doing art for-
