I have mad respect for Viv for not shying away from letting things get ugly and messy for Stolas as he’s trying to rebuild his life & grapple with all his pain and guilt. It hurts so bad right now (for him and us *and* Blitzø 😅) but I have faith that he’ll make it through and figure things out! 💜

Surprise fanmerch drop! I've added a little set of pins and playmats to my store, featuring Sallie May, Fizz, and other characters I thought would look cute in pajamas! Again if you can spread the word I'd greatly appreciate it. impas.acggoods.com

Getting my Harry Potter tattoo covered up tomorrow! I’m a little nervous because I’ve never had a cover-up before, but I am eager to no longer have a tattoo I feel so conflicted about (and it was a pretty poorly-done tattoo anyway 😅)

Hadestown is my favorite musical and y’all know how I feel about Helluva Boss. When the Hadestown proshot was announced, I had a clear vision of Patrick Page’s two roles in one. Please enjoy my labor of love for these two brilliant shows.

I’m so excited to be able to share the fics I wrote for @onehelluvazine.bsky.social Vol 2! Today, I’m sharing my personal favorite (and one that is very dear to me!) 💜 It also features art from the insanely talented @minkas.bsky.social ! Link below! Thank you so much to anyone who checks it out! 💜

On a KOG note, very excited. Can’t say much but I think ep 2’s gonna be a good litmus test of who will actually be into this show. So fucking proud of the team. No, I can’t say anything about dates. Time to drop offline again. 🏃‍♀️

I wrote Loona’s concert review, Stolas’ fanfiction, and young Stolas and Blitzø’s letters to each other 😄💜

Ugh yessss the extended version of that song is always such a gut-punch! 😭 It stuck with me so much that I wrote a fic about it and got a tattoo inspired by it (I’m very normal about that song, clearly 😅)

I can’t believe how gorgeous the @onehelluvazine.bsky.social came out! I’m so proud to be part of this zine, and thrilled with the quality & how amazing the pieces I wrote look on the page (@pcshnun.bsky.social did an INCREDIBLE job with the layout!) Can’t wait til I can show off the actual pages!😍

TrebleRose89 || Troy Barrett Simp @treblerose89.bsky.social · 31/07/2026

@pcshnun.bsky.social gets all the credit for the actual layout! I wrote it to be an ao3 fic with the authors notes and comments and usernames and everything, but I was like “Maybe you could sort of make it look like an actual ao3 page?” And they went ALL IN and I couldn’t be more happy with it haha

- Kyle doesn’t look back - Eric doesn’t either, because Kyle told him not to, and he is a good boy 😜 (stole that from my friend 🤣) - Troy makes it about 10 steps before insecurity wins and he turns around - Harris doesn’t )

000

TrebleRose89 || Troy Barrett Simp @treblerose89.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

(My personal thoughts, after mulling it over with friends: - Scott doesn’t look - Kip *might*? 🤔 he’s tricky! - Shane doesn’t (can’t fail a challenge!) - Ilya goes full Orpheus — caves and looks at the LAST second - Ryan looks - Fabian doesn’t (Kyric & Trarris in reply lol)

For any HR/GC folks who are also into Hadestown: Imagine each of the MCs from the books ending up in Orpheus’ shoes… How likely are each of them to turn around? 🤔 The friends I asked had some really interesting takes and now I am invested and need more people to chime in 🤣

I have grown so used to this fandom’s fundamental misunderstanding of Troy as a character that I end up pleasantly surprised whenever I come across a decent take or opinion about him.

010

TrebleRose89 || Troy Barrett Simp @treblerose89.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Writing a rarepair means scrolling past a LOT of rec lists you aren’t on, or rec requests your fics don’t fill…. And then, just when you start to get discouraged, you finally stumble across someone asking for the niche pairing you write, and it feels like Christmas morning 🤣
