I forgot to share this one. For the real gamers out there

Jumping off my last post, I've wanted to comment on how bnha handled the Todoroki family. While it wasn't perfect, I did appreciate that it tried to have a nuanced look at a fucked up family like that. In that family, I'm the Natsuo. But I'm glad they showed multiple reactions across the children

I'm glad Viv saying something at a con has people talking about Stella loving Via in her own way. The one thing a lot of people don't get about broken/dysfunctional families and/or familial abuse/neglect if they haven't experienced it themselves is that it's not always so black and white

I don't know about shaped me but here's 9 anime I like. I've listed some of these a million times but I think it's the first time I've put chrono crusade on one. Maybe time for a rewatch...

I found a box of cards in my closet and I got this one out of a vhs tape back in the day and I thought it was worthless but apparently someone thinks otherwise jfc

Oh yeah I also have this from 2001. An important scholarly text

Now for something completely different. I was cleaning and rediscovered this book I bought at an estate sale years ago. Essential reading for finding movies that're sure to be free of ai lol

This is Emma's baby toy. She picks it up and walks around meowing plaintively when she wants to play. It's hard to get a pic or video of her doing it cause when she sees me with the phone, she drops it and stares at me like this.

I truly, deeply, sincerely do think the guy flipping burgers at McDonalds should be able to afford rent, bills, and groceries with his paycheck alone. That's kind of the whole point of having a job and I can't believe this is considered a radical position.🤷🏽‍♀️

Just got reminded of the time a roommate's dog got out (this was years ago) and I had to chase him down. It was the middle of the night and he ran into the neighbor's yard. So I'm cautiously entering the fence and calling the dog's name cause I don't wanna go all the way in the yard. Unfortunately

I'm still mourning Star and Stripe. They really had the most bitchin, most American hero show up, wreck the ever loving shit out of the main villain, and then took her away. She punched the villain with lasers and missiles. You can't get more American than that lmao

My back has been messed up so I've been using the massage feature on my chair and I'm not sure but I think Emma thinks I'm just doing real big purrs cause she's turning my legs into pincushions with all the kneading she's doing.

I'm placing bets that this song is gonna have been adjusted to be for Robo Fizz

Not feeling great about finding out the immediate murder professionals Kickstarter game that was supposed to be limited to the Kickstarter is now available at hot topic :/ I would not have backed it if I'd known I could just get it later. Dick move man

How To Stop A Motor Car (1902)

This has gotta be the funniest silent film I've seen. First a car hits a policeman and he explodes into pieces (acab!) Then the next shows him the true power of the police. Sitting on their asses and doing nothing until said asses can deflect an oncoming automobile. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Znn3...

I was convinced I'd be dead before 30 so frankly 20 year old me would just be confused how that didn't happen. Honestly present me sometimes still is lmao

Bringing this back around cause why not.

I like how Fizz invites Blitz out and Blitz thinks this is gonna be about him, but really it's gonna end up being Fizz dealing with his independence/confidence issues within his own relationship.

Just as expected, no Robo Fizz crumbs for me 😔
