Though rarely depicted, Kothysax can frequently be found in a foot-long quad form, typically snoozing on, cuddling with, or receiving pets from Bol. He is embarrassed for most to see him like this, but it also brings him great comfort. Around them, he's willing to let down his guard. #bolycule

After over a week of harder-than-expected work, I'm happy to present Bol - the eponymous character of my [i]Bolycule[/i] series - in the flesh! It was very important to me to accurately depict their key attributes: they had to be fluffy, pink, and cute. Hopefully I managed to capture all three!

A ref sheet for a pink anthro velociraptor named Bol. Bol is fully feathered save for their hands, feet, and the tip of their snout, and has a slightly hunched-forward posture evocative of theropod dinosaurs. Their feathers are predominantly pink, with shiny purple highlights on the longer feathers of their wing-arms, tailfan, and head crest. Their underbelly is a pale off-white cream color. Their skin is dark grey with even darker scutes, and their claws are yellow-gold. They are smiling, showing one snaggle-fang, and their eyes are wide and bright with blue irises. Their eyes have prominent dark wings, evoking lashes. They are touching the tips of their pointer-claws together meekly. They are wearing dark purple short shorts, and a bright red collar with a small golden tag, which reads "Bol". Their feathers appear very fluffy, especially on the top half of their chest. Fun fact about me, I love dragons! Their taste, that is! Simply seeing one can be enough to make me start drooling! And fortunately, my friend Yana was more than willing to be churned down and claimed by my body, getting slowly packed onto my hips and belly while I purr in absolute satisfaction.

(Older art) I showed y'all one alt forme, but I do have another. Rather inconveniently, it's not my choice when I take it. For reasons unknown to me, if I so much as hear someone speak the words "who's a shiny bird", well... See for yourself.

If I told you I like small things, I bet none of you would be surprised. However, you might not have guessed exactly what - or who - I was thinking of when I said it. Turns out you can be small and still like having furs underfoot! And I know these three will love keeping my talons company~

Though I'm a microraptor, and that's emphatically my true forme, one thing I want is to have a bunch of canonical alt formes. So here's the first and most important. Why the most important? I like dragons. A lot. I need to be one sometimes. And as this shoulder-sized specimen, I can be!

Today's art: Woke up today feeling a strong pet-brained urge. My friend @darkroastderg.bsky.social took advantage of this and stuck me in a cage. Joke's on her though, I'm quite cozy in here! This piece continues my ongoing agenda to depict dromeosaurids with cutesy bird behaviors.

I want to start posting here, but not sure how to. So I'll start with me. Here's the design for my fursona, Eight! Both my artwork and her design have improved since I drew this, but it's still the most comprehensive piece of reference i have. She's an 8" microraptor with acheroraptor features!

A ref sheet for a semi-feral microraptor. Her entire body is feathered, save the tip of her muzzle and her hands and feet. Her body has naturalistic brown and tan patterns with dappling, and her crest and flights are banded orange, purple, and navy. She has wings on both her arms and legs, and sickle claws on her feet. Her eyes are bright pink, and she wears a matching collar with an silver oversized tag, bearing the numeral "8". A single large, curled feather hangs forward atop her head, and a signature dark stripe runs from her eyes to the tip of her tail. Two snaggle-fangs stick out of her closed but smiling mouth. The reference materials state "Michroraptor-Acheroraptor", "any/all", 8 inches tall, and 12 inches long. Pride flags for grey ace, bisexual, and nonbinary are featured.
