My home UU congregation passed a policy last year that does not allow any AI content to be used in worship services or religious education classes. It's a good first step, and I'm hoping more UU groups and churches do so too.

The person in the story is actually a Unitarian Universalist, way easier to be one of them. You don't even need to believe in a God or gods or anything supernatural. You can, but you don't have to!

I'd say this is the biggest difference between me as a child (one person with a logical argument and a good speaking voice can change everything, aka The West Wing), and me today. It's organization, it's power, it's praxis, it's so much more than a single speech, no matter how good it is.
