Between this and the infamous Variety headline, it's weird how media outlets really are incapable of celebrating Sinners.

Slate post on Threads saying "Though it won a few big awards, Sinners ultimately set the record for the most losses in one night in Academy Awards history."

I have basically zero interest in Wuthering Heights, but it has been thoroughly entertaining to read through some of the Letterboxd reviews

Letterboxd review: “I love when women are mean perverts”

Letterboxd review: “Emerald Fennell to film is what Colleen Hoover is to literature”

Letterboxd review: “Emile Brontë died of tuberculosis 177 years ago yet this adaptation is still the worst thing that has ever happened to her”

Letterboxd review: “I suppose I could have saved myself two hours by setting fire to my money and pissing on Emily Brontë’s grave myself”
