i think a problem here is a lot of you want a justice system which induces catharsis rather than a justice system which strives for positive outcomes—and you fail to realize that justice in service of catharsis is usually deeply reactionary and conservative rather than constructive and progressive

if everything’s on site (it probably isn’t) there’s at least a switch that moves a group or personal account into a moderation mode that wouldn’t have blocks, and more than likely there are external tools anyways. him blocking someone will have no affect on the (technical) parts of doing the job.

if i can be blunt with you, no one’s bluesky account is relevant in regards to the actual work of trust and safety. i work in the industry, no website on any scale like, requires the use of some sort of actual site account to do the job.
