Another color palette turned into a tree

A digital painting of a tree using a dark saturated brown for the trunk, a desaturated green (more on the blue than yellow side) for the grass and leaves, a saturated yellow-ish green for highlights in the grass and mountain with atmospheriec perspective and light yellow/green for sky. A tuft of light grass sticks up particularly high in front of the trunk and the branches hang heavy. It has a low horizon line.

Inspired by some old @drawfeeshow.com speed draws, I pulled up a random color palette site, rolled one up and drew what was in my heart. It turns out my heart is mainly trees.

Something I learned last spring is that there are herons that visit a creek in campus. (Followed a bunch of nature photographers, and while that isn't usually my thing, I am inspired to share)

Progress I made today on my work (a lot of this was fiddling with inkscape so the ordered pairs are placed correctly). Also did discover part way through that one of my calculations hd been wrong (and discovered a mis-entry as I was about to post)

4 squares and 2 line segments where every vertex, edge, and face has an ordered pair on it. The ordered pairs are placed on the figures in LaTeX.
