Finally, the parent asking the question to the group, confirmed they too are actively engaged in efforts to remove gender identity related property and clothing of their trans child, demonstrating this group is part of a shared project of suppressing trans children's identities through coercion.

I mean I did seek out a non affirming therapist and I have indeed hidden trans badges and clothes so, I dunno, they can bite me !!

Another responded: “I think most of us would agree is that we promote the opposite- namely that we want to help our loved ones to feel more comfortable in their own bodies rather then thinking that they can go through a process to convert them to the opposite sex”.

User 4 replies: no ethical therapist these days would be telling people what to think - it's listening, exploring, asking questions. But for some trans people even this is too much.

One user responded to the news saying, “I’m just checking that we don’t actually promote conversion therapy” another responded: “If advising kids to accept biological reality is conversion therapy I’m all for it.”

From the transgenderuk community on reddit: Revealed, Streeting met with and expressed sympathy for pro-conversion therapy parents group Bayswater.

Christian Concern are reporting that the health secretary Wes Streeting has met with 4 nurses after they delivered a petition gathered by a coalition with Catholic campaigning group Citizen GO (known elsewhere for their links to far right activism in Spain and Latin America).

The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting, met with the Darlington nurses and said he is committed to the belief that sex is biological being reflected in the day-to-day running of the NHS under his watch.

The nurses, who are being supported by the Christian Legal Centre, also handed in a CitizenGo petition signed by 48,000 people to Number 10 Downing Street, calling for the government to do whatever is necessary to ensure women have access to single-sex changing rooms and toilets.

It thus follows that if consideration were to be given to, say, setting up a statutory inquiry into allegations of manipulation or fraud in the case of the PACE trial, or a general inquiry into the failures of the BPS model along the lines of Sir Brian Langstaff’s infected blood inquiry, Sir Simon might, in theory, be in a position to exert a restraining influence.
