🔥Dragon for Linktober’s day 4 prompt. Great boss fight. Cool dragon. Terrible name. #linktober #ocarinaoftime

An image of the serpentine dragon boss “Volvagia” from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was drawn using coloured pencil with a palette of reds, oranges, blue and white. This version of the image has been finished with additional digital drawing of topographical style organic shapes between the spaces of the dragons body. The dragon’s long body is coiled, going off the page on the right and reappearing on the left. It is in “ready to strike” position, ready to pop up and out of the lava pit it hides under. At the top centre, a burst of fire and lava is spewing around the dragons head, as it reaches the surface.
