Yesterday, I replaced the Tesla (the unit of magnetic field strength) with the Ohm (the unit of resistance). It’s my first time manufacturing an art project of my own design.

Y’all, I’ve been trying to attend my local (Alameda County, CA) Democratic Party meetings for months now. Today I showed up in person and it’s behind a locked gate at the local Teamsters. In the Zoom, they won’t admit you unless you’re a member. How does someone actually join this organization?

I have once again come home to my roommates trying to do a principle components analysis on food (they’ve so far narrowed it down to all food items being either soup, cake, salad, or dumple; though I think a Nobel will go to the person who classifies banana successfully).

I'm spooning out the 🥄 memes today in support of civil servants. Rosie the Riveter comes from Richmond, California, and the all-hands-on-deck effort to fight fascism during World War II, so this seems a good re-use, particularly as DOGE tries to erase women from US government websites.

Rosie the Riveter is shown in a pop art style, flexing her bicep. Instead of the normal speech bubble, this one says, "We Have The Spoons To Save Democracy!" in approximately the same font and style as the original.
