Great work. Glad to see a fellow sociologist on BlueSky, too.

I wish they lived longer. My dog passed the summer and I miss her every day.

BlueSky needs more drums. Actually, everyone needs more drums. Drums are for everyone. #drums #music #bluesky

Is this still around? My great grandmother always cooked one for me when I visited, in the early 90s. Those were the days.

Alta Vista. I think about that search engine from time to time. The old days.

Serta couches? No kidding. Time to window shop.

You’ve got one of the best goalies in the league, though! I thought the Canes were cursed until they won the cup.

I had it as a kid in the 90s. We called it American Chop Suey

The Egret doesn’t fly away when I stop to take a photograph. I guess we’re friends now. Some bonus fishes, too. Thanks for looking. #bird #nature #water #fish #animals #photography

A picture of a Blue Egret near water. Fish are under the surface of the water.

Propaganda is especially powerful among young minds. We hadn’t developed the capacity to think critically, yet.

I nearly joined the Air Force. I had no idea what I wanted to do, and the Air Force seemed cool somehow. I probably would have joined if my parents hadn’t talked me out of it. I’m lucky they did not support the idea.

Yeah, life is better without AI. We don’t need it. It’s so damn expensive (in many different ways) and provides so little for the cost.

Hey BlueSky. I post here a lot, but I’ve never introduced myself. I’m Josh. Transient Archive is one of my creative outlets, and provides structure for developing my skills as a drummer. Expect posts about drums, production, and photos I take. #introduction #bluesky #drums #music #photography

with lots of saturation and grit. I used Analog Obsession plugins in Reaper. They have several different plugins designed to emulate the hardware that shaped the sound of rock in the 69s and 70s. I am not sure that I like the final mix. It’s a bit too compressed, maybe. It was fun to make.

Thirty seconds of The Wanton Song, by Led Zeppelin. #rock #drums #ledzeppelin #music John Bonham composed a monster drum part. I may be overplaying the kick drum. I can’t tell - the original recording isn’t clear and hi-fi like more recent rock tracks. I tried to mix this aggressively -

Drums Only: Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin. John Bonham is the GOAT. I have learned a lot studying his playing. I guess I got the drum sound close enough to earn a copyright claim. Thanks for watching. youtu.be/KWjTblQN1kE?... #ledzeppelin #rock #drums #immigrantsong #heavy #music

This is very cool. Thanks for offering the opportunity. It’s been a long time since I wrote something like that. I’ll think about it!

I’m sorry to hear that about the lead singer and founder. I am glad the band can keep going with your brother.
