For me I think the longest possible chapter would be 10k words before I start really internally begging for things to be sliced up a bit (but I'm guilty of long chapters too...) Combat is an absolute nightmare to write but I'm proud of you for tackling it!

the saddest thing about soto is how many people now gush over the things that i had loved back then, even when they'd all seemed to hate it. i should be happy people like it now, but the shit i went through during that time doesn't just go away. its 'nothing' but it still hurt and exhausted me a lot

one of the worst comments was someone reblogging an art piece i did saying 'your art would do numbers if you didn't draw soto'. which is, objectively a lie, because even when i dont draw soto, nobody cares lol. it was all just to make me feel worse for enjoying something everyone else chose to hate

being a new player when soto came out was particularly painful when it came to wanting to be 'part' of the fandom. i quickly was shown that my interests were bad. my inbox has never been so active as when people were telling me how wrong i was for liking soto and how it was ruining gw2.

I always want to get characters as accurate as I can when I draw fanart for someone. If I draw Novus I want to get his bark grooves correct, the notches in his ears, the thickness of his eyebrows and the unusually slender build of his body. It's tricky at me at first, but I wanted to get him Right.

It's been 10 years today, and I still can't quite believe how long it's been, while sometimes feeling like it was just barely yesterday. You taught me a lot and were a great guy, and gave me my passion for fishing (both irl and in video games!) Love you lots and miss you tons, dad.

This has been an extremely well-spent Four Winds! I didn't get the drops I wanted via boxes, but considering I started the festival with 1k and managed to grab the Possesion infu, Lingering Darkness, the Castoran Raptor, Branded infu, and now Seer Transcendence... I'd say I did REALLY damn well
