My To Do list for today kept growing so I finally wrote it out. I'm sure there's something witty to add but I don't have the energy for it yet

A screenshot of my To Do list for today containing the following:

[✓] Fill the cat food before I become the cat food
[✓] Feed the kids until they stop asking for more food
[ ] Make coffee
[ ] Mow the lawn because holy crap how did it grow 3" in the last two days?!
[ ] Shower
[ ] Take eldest child to birthday party
[ ] Buy more catfood
[ ] Buy more milk

I'm in Venice today and was struck by the juxtaposition of extremely modern networking and the stone carving of the lion of the ancient city

On a practically timeless brick wall sits both a stone carving of the Venetian lion on the left and a fiber junction box on the right which was left open and has the fiber connectors visible

A photo of 2 unfinished micro model railroads, one in HO and the other in N scale. Both sized roughly 1x4 feet

The N scale layout is the classic Timesaver design. Basically a runaround that's about 2 car lengths long with multiple sidings of 2-3 car lengths off of each end

The HO scale is a passing siding also about 2 car lengths long, with each leg of the layout being a siding also about 2 car lengths long. It can be operated as a end of line terminus, a reduced timesaver or even as an inglenook by parking cars on one leg of the passing siding
