was away for a week and im not logged into this account on mobile, but im back homeee! with my bf's help i was able to finish my platinum dex (need to get diamond/pearl eventually to actually have my own manaphy but otherwise have everything), and was able to get trade exclusives for my lg dex!

so i literally have her in heartgold

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

though ive seen things that show i did keep trying to play it as i got older, but i have no memory of it. i think i legit said "i never picked charmander in leafgreen" on a stream and then found a post i made as a kid talking about my charmeleon

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

i wouldve been like. 5 or 6 years old when i had lg so im not surprised i couldnt finish it because even me now had to look stuff up LOL

finished firered for the first time yesterday and it. had a bigger impact on me than i expected. my first pokemon game ever (from what i remember) was leafgreen when i was little. i never finished it and it got lost yeaaars ago, but the switch releases allowed me to finally finish these games

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

at victory road in firered so ill be finishing up that and the elite four and such today or tomorrow, then its pokedex time.. my priority is having stuff ready to trade with my bf for pokedex completion when im visiting, but i think i have nearly everything caught that i can get at this point ??

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

im going to let myself continue with my other plans and hunts this month, which are finishing fire red in time to do dex trading with my bf when im visiting him, see if i can finally finish my swsh rockruff hunt, and then continuing with mareep in soulsilver

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

ok ok my plan with the bank shutdown approaching: september i will be focusing on getting through sun so i can get myself to being able to get type null, and then i will be full focused hunting that and have from sep/oct til closing day to get the shiny

We're losing a link between several games that have been there since 2002, but each of these games will still exist, and so will your Pokemon. You can still send memories up that will carry on for the foreseeable future. Create memories now instead of mourning future memories that may not ever exist

Let the closure of Bank in February motivate you to do crazy things in these games you never considered doing before, or carefully curate which treasured Pokemon you want to send up to HOME for the future. Don't let it become a massive panic where you feel like all will be lost forever.

The only way to Shiny Hunt Type: Null, Silvally, Poipole, and Naganadel is on the 3DS from my knowledge If you need that for your Shiny Living Dex, now is the time to hunt, before Pokemon Bank shuts down I don't know if there's anything else, but feel free to chime in

i have plans for either a DTQ or badge (trial) quest for USUM but i will be keeping that team in the game, so i want to have a separate shiny null/silvally to transfer up to swsh

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

going to hurry to finish my firered playthrough since thats just a normal one and i need to have it done for other reasons, but after that im gonna get through sun real fast to hunt type null

010

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

if it goes on for too long though ill probably set it aside so i can finish playing firered and get back to some other hunts, but we'll see!

010

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

was pretty busy for the rest of safari week so ill be doing overtime! just hoping to finish out the phase, which ill probably do a bit of today but mostly tomorrow since i still have movies i want to watch while i hunt

130

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

i think mareep is the next one im going for, and i plan to hunt eevee as well when i get there! im not sure if i want to do a full shiny team or not, some of the ones im interested in hunting are low % encounters and this was originally just a normal replay LOL

020

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

my plan after safari week is to actually finish playing firered, see if i can finish a rockruff hunt thats been on and off in sword for yeaaaars at this point, and then get to playing soulsilver til i can hunt my next target!

Nico @trainer-hvensward.bsky.social · 24/07/2026

ended up not feeling up to streaming yesterday and slept in today, so at least for the official safari week the rest of my time will be spent offline! i do want to at least finish out the current phase, so ill do an overtime stream if i dont get anything over the weekend 💙
