First step of making something good is to make something shitty Step 1 complete ✅ Cattails are a huge step up in difficulty to weave with compared textiles and vines/rattan/branches, I was ready to eat somebody a half hour in 😅

So that’s two pawpaws, a paper birch, two haksap bushes, couple lowbush blueberries, & a persimmon added this year, & another 20-30 invasive honeysuckles/autumn olives OUT, plus taking out a couple nonnative Siberian elms so that I hear less complaints about All The Trees I Have To Mow Around Now 😁

We have five cats and a steady rotation of teenagers so we got the cheap foam ‘boneless’ modular couch with washable covers for the basement, expecting they’ll destroy them. Needless to say the ‘couch fight pit’ is a smash hit with the kids AND cats
