PREMA Racing secures season’s best result in maiden Indianapolis 500 The 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 was a race of survival as PREMA Racing’s maiden entry into the Greatest Spectacle in Racing was a tale of two endings. PREMA Racing, Shwartzman make history by clinching pole position for the Indianapolis 500 PREMA Racing continues to add to its list of milestones during its debut NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, as Robert Shwartzman clinched pole position for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 during Sunday’s Firestone Fast Six. In winning the NTT P1 Award, it marks the first time a rookie has qualified on pole for the Indianapolis 500 in over 40 years, the last being Italian driver Teo Fabi in 1983.

PREMA Racing is proud to announce that Italian die-casting machines manufacturer IDRA Group will be supporting the team for its maiden run at the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, the Indianapolis 500, as an Official Partner, and its identity will be featured on the sides of the PREMA-prepared NTT INDYCAR SERIES machinery driven by Robert Shwartzman and Callum Ilott. Founded in 1946 by Adamo Pasotti, IDRA is a benchmark company in the die casting of nonferrous alloys in Italy, in Europe, and worldwide.
