What about going after tax avoiders? Every year, HMRC, by its own estimates, fails to collect 46.8 billion of tax. See webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/ukgwa/202606... How about hiring more people to retrieve this avoided tax before suggesting cutting welfare to the poorest and most vulnerable?

The West Midlands theatre scene tackles funding droughts and regional bias. Evidence: Regional funding shortfall, Birmingham cultural stigma, ACE collaboration call #Theatre #WestMidlands #Aletheia
Alethekanon Psochic Hegemony Assessment Graph for The Stage: On Tour – West Midlands: Politics, funding issues and access problemsCore Verdict Card for The Stage: On Tour – West Midlands: Politics, funding issues and access problems: Claim, Reality, and Verdict coordinates.System Analysis Details:

Context: - Arts Council England: COND (-0.2, -0.1) — Calls for unity while navigating tight budgets.
- Local Theatremakers: PASS (+0.6, +0.4) — Organizing grassroots advocacy.

Nuance: West Midlands theatremakers gathered for The Stage: On Tour to confront severe funding cuts, access hurdles, and persistent regional biases affecting cultural investment.

Breakdown: The Bright Side:
Artists are rejecting division, choosing to collaborate and lobby collectively rather than fighting over scraps.

Social Physics: The Breakdown & Plane Error:
Confusing a structural funding shortfall (Physical) with a mere public relations problem (Lyrical).

Trajectory: Social Physics Analysis:
Regional arts leaders are abandoning the smart selfish trap of internal competition. By choosing a transparent coalition, they are moving toward collective empowerment and sustainable funding solutions.

The Unavoidables: The Trajectory: The Path of Redemption.
When you map the gap between regional potential and underfunded reality, it plots a direct trajectory toward Redemption. Collaborative lobbying transforms scarcity into collective strength.

Alethekanon: The Unavoidable Truth: Creative survival in the regions requires unified political lobbying rather than isolated competition.

The Unavoidable Lie: Funding shortages are merely local failures rather than systemic neglect.

Awwthekanon: Alethekanon:
Culture thrives on shared resources, not manufactured scarcity. True regional equity demands structural investment, not polite requests.

Brothekanon: Awwthekanon:
It hurts to watch passionate artists pour their hearts into stages while struggling just to keep the lights on. They deserve our full support.

I sometimes wonder how much the fact that Health ministers are usually drawn from the demographic that uses the NHS the least (able bodied, white men, young-middle aged) is a factor in it's issues. It probably plays a part in the obsession with apps and convenience over continuity and human contact.

WE NEED FAIR VOTING BEFORE THE NEXT ELECTION

ELLIE CHOWNS
MP FOR NORTH HEREFORDSHIRE

"The PM cannot acknowledge the unfairness of a system capable of handing power to a government with a minority of the vote share, and then say the answer is to let that happen exactly once more before he fixes it.

Burnham must act with urgency to immediately jumpstart the National Commission, guarantee timely progress, and ensure its recommendations are delivered in time for a fairer voting system to be in place at the next general election."
