Took the kids to Magic Kingdom today for Oliver’s first ride on Space Mountain. Right before the re-entry tunnel we came to a stop and then got to experience an evacuation! Spencer, having watched many breakdown videos from @tpmvids.bsky.social, was especially excited.

On every trip to WDW I always try to do at least 1 thing I’ve never done before but this time we did 4. Played the carnival games in Dinorama, watched Wondrous China, Sushi at Shiki Sai in Japan & caught a performance of “Joyful” for Festival of the Holidays. What’s something you’ve yet to do?

Looks like the Disney World app got a premature update & removed Chester & Hester’s Dinorama a litle earlier than the Jan 12th closure. Never fear Triceritop Spin is still open until then though.

Spoke with a lovely Imagineer at Disneyland who said both the Tiana’s Foods trucks at Disneyland and Walt Disney World are authentic vintage vehicles that Imagineers restored. Truly remarkable restoration work!

The high winds at Disneyland blew all the dead pine needles off the trees giving just that much more authenticity to Frontierland
