Meet Smudge! She is a 2 month old kitten and the newest addition to our family. We have always had two cats since 2010 so it’s nice to fill the void that Milo left over a year ago. Our older cat Salem is watching Smudge’s every move.

Last night was an absolute BLAST!! Meet Malumbra, derived from the Latin words malum (evil) and umbra (shadow). Because of his size, his shadow is the last thing people see before being taken without warning, making him the perfect henchman to gather victims for Havoc.

Another school year has arrived, and this year Spencer is starting middle school! These two just grow too fast. And Oliver’s 2nd grade teacher is a big Disney fan so he will have lots of Disney Parks facts to talk her ear off about, haha.

Ever since Oliver hit 48 inches at Epic, he has talked so much about finally being able to ride TRON Lightcycle Run. We just got off his first ever ride and it was Spencer’s first time in the regular seat. They both LOVED it and want to keep riding over and over again.

Had a wonderful day at LEGOLAND Florida yesterday for the inaugural LEGO Festival! Got to work on this a little bit before leaving and was excited to bring the kids to experience it. Lots of build activities and new LEGO characters to meet. Happening every weekend until June 8th!

We hit a big theme park milestone during our Epic Universe visit this week. Oliver is now 48” tall and Monsters Unchained was his first attraction to ride with that height requirement! He was so excited but did get scared by the end. Spencer on the other hand LOVED it so much!

Got an updated eye exam recently and today just received my new glasses. Best part of this frame is that they have a magnet allowing me to snap shades on and actually see for the first time with sunglasses! This is going to be huge for park days moving forward!

Looking back at the first video project I did after joining LEGOLAND Florida in 2020. To coincide with Shark Week, our Social Media Manager & I worked on this concept highlighting the LEGO Shark model at the Water Park, which meant diving into the wave pool for the perfect shots.

One unexpected aspect of my time at LEGOLAND was the brainstorming sessions for names of promotions, food, etc. I’m proud to have named two of them: the Monster-to-Merry Season Ticket in 2023 (which inspired an internal event) and the Key Lime Pie-sicle for Spring Break 2025.

Tomorrow we are hosting a hard hat tour of SEA LIFE Florida, my last media event with LEGOLAND Florida. The only other time we did a hard hat tour was for Peppa Pig Theme Park in 2021, and I have always loved the photo-op I came up with based on Mr. Bull's construction scenes from the series.

Last week I found out that after almost 5 years, my time at LEGOLAND Florida Resort is unfortunately coming to an end on April 2nd due to restructuring at Merlin.
