I've spent a lot of time on LinkedIn over the years and honestly, it isn't real. It's the business professional equivalent of a MMORPG like WORLD OF WARCRAFT. People are on there coming up with characters for themselves: titles, skills, in-depth histories... to play the world's most boring RPG.
