I don't like that "it's just a tool" thing. A tool is something that takes the energy of your hands and turns it into something useful or beautiful. A tool is a conduit for your intent. AI approximates what your intent might be based on decades of Big Data mass surveillance

I have an old denim jacket, which was never expensive or high-quality to begin with, but which has somehow lasted over a decade and a half now. The sleeves are fraying and I've had to dye it twice, but the jacket itself is still intact. Quite the achievement.

Recently, someone has commented on one of my more specific writing quirks, which is that I tend to add "yes yes" to the end of especially affirmative statements. I was curious, and it seems I've done it in ~20 Bsky posts, 200+ times on my three most active Discord servers, and in at least two games.
