NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF KELSALE CUM CARLTON) (FOOTPATH 17 - PART) FOOTPATH DIVERSION ORDER 2010
On 16 June 2011 the Secret of State confirmed the above-named order, made on 25 June 2010 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert part of Footpath 17 Kelsale cum Carlton from its current route across North Green farmland, to a field edge route running along a grass track and west of the farm buildings to North Green Road.
This order is made in association with a proposed creation agreement that will provide a footpath link between the northern end of Footpath 17 and Footpath 16A Yoxford.
A copy of the confirmed order and of the map contained in it, showing the effect of both the diversion and the footpath creation, may be inspected free of charge at the address below, 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Monday - Friday; also at Saxmundham Library, County Offices, Street Farm Road, Saxmundham, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Friday; 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday; and 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday.
A copy of the order may also be purchased for £2.00 from the Head of Legal Services at the address below or sent by post for £2.50.
This order will become operative on 25 August 2011, but if any person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with they may within 42 days of the date of publication of this notice apply to the High Court.

Commencing on the North Green Road at OS grid reference TM39696651 and proceeding over a grass track in a north-easterly direction for 157 metres to OS grid reference TM39776664; then in a north-westerly direction within OS plot number 8068 for 96 metres to a footbridge at OS grid reference TM39706671; continuing into OS plot number 7777 for 36 metres to OS grid reference TM39686673; then in a north-easterly direction for 138 metres to OS grid reference TM39776684; this being the route marked F-E-D-C-B on the attached map.
