Packing our bags, heading to Sevilla for the UN Conference on Financing for Development #FfD4, where we expect a lot of EU ministers to give speeches about how we need to support "investors" to finance development. Those "investors" could start by paying tax #TaxJustice #UNTaxConvention

Pros of a UN Tax Convention, from @toveryding.bsky.social @eurodadnews.bsky.social: ✔️ Fairer, more inclusive space (OECD is ruled by wealthy countries). ✔️ While topics like climate and human rights are addressed at the UN, financing aspects are missing. ✔️ Strengthen accountability and transparency.
