I attempted to make Feather Bed Rolls! I halved the recipe and had to substitute a few things, and they ended up being dense and flat, but quite delicious. I shall try again! Probably can find variations online, of course.

It is a Household Casebearer! They’re also called plaster bagworms, which I am used to. Bagworms are all over the place. I don’t see them often in the house, but I’ve seen a few of the moths.

These two are the same insect, 26 minutes apart. The picture on the left is the regular appearance. The one on the right is what the insect looks like after it is scared and produces a chemical that spreads between its body and its elytra. 🌿🌱 #beetle #insect

I took a walk in a small park that has a baseball field and tennis courts (where they also play pickleball). I amused myself picking up stray balls! Two are golfballs. One baseball is a J.S.B.B. The weathered one, I don’t know.
